1. Project Background

आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर समुदायों में महिलाओं और किशोरियों को menstrual hygiene, personal hygiene, nutrition, reproductive health और preventive healthcare से संबंधित पर्याप्त जानकारी एवं सुविधाएँ नहीं मिल पाती हैं।

Kashi Educare Society इस परियोजना के माध्यम से महिलाओं और किशोरियों को स्वास्थ्य एवं स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक करने, सही menstrual hygiene practices अपनाने और आवश्यक healthcare services तक पहुँच बनाने का प्रयास करेगी।

2. Project Objectives

• महिलाओं एवं किशोरियों में menstrual hygiene के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना।
• सही personal hygiene practices को बढ़ावा देना।
• कम लागत/सुरक्षित menstrual hygiene products तक पहुँच में सहायता करना।
• Anemia, nutrition और सामान्य महिलाओं के स्वास्थ्य के बारे में awareness बढ़ाना।
• स्वास्थ्य संबंधी मिथकों और गलत धारणाओं को कम करना।
• महिलाओं को सरकारी एवं स्थानीय healthcare facilities की जानकारी देना।
• जरूरतमंद महिलाओं को healthcare professionals से जोड़ना।

3. Key Activities

A. Monthly Awareness Sessions

हर महीने community level पर awareness sessions आयोजित किए जाएंगे:

• Menstrual hygiene
• Personal hygiene
• Nutrition
• Anemia awareness
• Breast health awareness
• Reproductive health awareness
• Pregnancy एवं maternal health awareness
• मानसिक एवं भावनात्मक wellbeing
• स्वच्छ पानी एवं sanitation

B. Menstrual Hygiene Kit Distribution

जरूरतमंद किशोरियों एवं महिलाओं को hygiene kits दी जाएंगी।

एक basic kit में शामिल हो सकता है:

• Sanitary pads
• Reusable hygiene pouch
• Soap
• Hygiene information leaflet
• Disposal bags

C. Health Check-up Camps

समय-समय पर qualified healthcare professionals के सहयोग से health camps आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

संभावित सेवाएँ:

• Basic health screening
• Blood pressure
• Weight/BMI
• Hemoglobin screening, जहाँ उचित व्यवस्था उपलब्ध हो
• General health consultation
• Nutrition counselling

D. School/Community Sessions

किशोरियों के लिए age-appropriate sessions आयोजित किए जाएंगे, ताकि वे menstruation और hygiene को लेकर सही जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकें।

E. Women Health Helpline/Referral Support

जरूरतमंद महिलाओं को appropriate government hospitals, health centres और qualified medical professionals तक पहुँचने में सहायता दी जाएगी।

Monitoring indicators:

• कितने health camps आयोजित हुए
• कितनी महिलाओं को healthcare referral मिला
• Pre/Post awareness questionnaire
• Beneficiary feedback
• Photographs एवं attendance records
• Monthly activity report
• Annual impact report

Project पूरा होने के बाद:

500+ महिलाएँ एवं किशोरियाँ health & hygiene practices के बारे में बेहतर जानकारी प्राप्त करेंगी।

महिलाओं में:

• menstrual hygiene awareness बढ़ेगी
• personal hygiene practices बेहतर होंगी
• nutrition एवं anemia के प्रति awareness बढ़ेगी
• healthcare services तक पहुँच बेहतर होगी
• स्वास्थ्य संबंधी myths कम होंगे
